Christine Lamothe biography
Christine Lamothe received her initial training in modern dance and classical ballet at the École de danse Pointépiénu de Montréal and The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Since 1985, she has been working as a performer and coach for several choreographers, including Howard Richard, Roger Sinha and Montréal Danse company. Also trained in massage therapy and pursuing dance-related research in body therapy and somatic education, she bases her teaching on facilitating correct movement by means of a clear understanding of anatomy, improving anchoring and coordination, and drawing on the imagination and intention. Since 1994, Christine has been teaching contemporary dance technique at LADMMI.
Christine Lamothe teaches technique classes to the first and second year students.
