Audrey Bergeron biography

After pursuing college-level dance studies at Collège Montmorency and one year of the Bachelor's Degree in Dance at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Audrey Bergeron completed her training in May 2005 at LADMMI, l’école de danse contemporaine. Since then, she has been involved in several dance fields. She teaches at various schools, including at the École de danse de Boucherville, Nos voix nos visages and, since September 2009, LADMMI recreational courses. In 2006 and 2007, her choreography was featured in the Danses buissonnières à Tangente series, where she presented Carte blanche and Tout inclus, two creations that were also performed at La Rotonde (Quebec City) and at the Maison des Arts de Laval. Since 2007, she has been assistant coach, along with Massimo Agostinelli, for Tanz danse at Collège Montmorency, as well as a team member of Imprudanses, an improvised movement group comprised of up-and-coming professional dancers. She recently performed Loops, choreographed by Ismaël Mouaraki of Destins-croisés, which combines urban and contemporary dance. She is currently participating in Vieux Thomas et la petite fée’s tour of Bouge de là, directed by Hélène Langevin, and is performing in the company’s new creation.
